The most important of these conditions is the deflection Angle of the wire rope, which is the Angle between the wire rope from the reel to the first fixed pulley. Generally speaking, this deflection Angle should not be greater than 1.5° and should not be less than 0.5°. There are some slight differences (about a 0.25° variation), but it is good to remember this general statistic. The optimal deflection Angle also depends on the load, cable structure and lifting speed.
